Crystal Noir opens with contradiction: the heat of ginger, cardamom, and black pepper against something cool and crystalline in the composition's structure. It is spiced without being heavy, immediate without being aggressive. The tension is the point.
Gardenia settles the heart with its particular kind of white-floral richness. Peony keeps it from turning too opulent. Water lily opens the composition outward, giving it room to breathe before the base — musk, sandalwood, amber — draws everything together into something deeply worn and deeply familiar.
